Experience Grants

Children with Autism Deserve Education (C.A.D.E.) is rolling out a new type of grant called the Experience Grant! We believes that certain life experiences can be therapeutically life-changing for some individuals with autism and their families. C.A.D.E. understand how expensive raising a child, or even multiple children with autism can be. We don’t want money to hold anyone back from doing something they love (or might love to try), so we have decided to provide some financial assistance to make a few dreams come true.

What is an “experience”?

It can be anything! Everyone has different hopes, interests, dreams, and desires. It can be recreational, therapy-based, cultural, adventure-driven, spiritual, or even focused on travel.

How is this different from the other grants we award?

The main difference is that our other grants can be applied for on a yearly basis and the “experience” grant can only be approved one-time per individual with autism. Like our other grant applications, an autism diagnosis, family tax information, and an application that includes a written essay, are all required. If approved, financial assistance (of up to $1,000) will be given out via gift cards, vouchers, and/or payment to a approved company directly. We have set a budget on how many grants of this kind we can approve, but encourage everyone to apply!
