C.A.D.E. grants help fund evidence-based education, therapy and medical interventions for families and children with autism that don’t have the financial resources.. Since 2014, C.A.D.E. has provided more than $500,000 in financial support to families in Minnesota—helping kids reach their full potential to live healthy, happy, productive lives.

Grants are available to families who meet the grant program criteria and on the basis of board approval.

Medical and Therapy Grant

Medical and therapy grants are designed to provide support to individuals with autism.

The following must be submitted here in order to be considered for a grant:

  • Completed and signed grant application (link below)
  • Verification of diagnosis – Evaluation report or prescription from diagnosing physician
  • No more than 500-word description of current family situation (descriptions exceeding this amount will not be considered) as a personal essay
  • Copy of previous years’ tax return (no bank statements or check stubs will be accepted)

Technology Grant

The technology grant provides families with technology devices that will help enhance the life of their loved one with autism. Each grant recipient will receive an Apple iPad and a protective case.

The following must be submitted here in order to be considered for a grant:

  • Completed and signed grant application (link below)
  • Verification of diagnosis – Evaluation report or prescription from diagnosing physician
  • No more than 500-word description of current family situation (descriptions exceeding this amount will not be considered) as a personal essay
  • A written statement on the expected use of the iPad.
